Pechi is about friends Meena (Gayathrie Shankar), Jerry (Mageshwaran), Charan (Dev), Charu (Preeti), and Sethu (Jana), who go on a weekend hike with their guide Maari (Bala Saravanan). At the start, a forest guard gives Maari a strange look, suggesting something is wrong. Maari warns the group about dangers in the forest, which annoys them.
