'Surya, a National Geographic photographer with a speech disorder, comes to Ooty to photograph a rare bird. There he meets Charu, an orphan trying to escape an arranged marriage by confessing her love to Kathir, a young engineer. As Surya spends time with Charu, he quietly falls in love with her.
