


The story of Manidhargal begins with six close friends Karli (Kapil Velavan), Sathis (Daksha), Mano (Gunavanthan), Deepan (Arjundev Saravanan), Chandru (Samba Sivam), and Prem who travel to a remote, hilly area for a night. They party by drinking heavily and have fun. When they wake up the following morning from their drunken state, they realize that they are in serious trouble. They are horrified to find Prem lying dead with a broken liquor bottle pierced into his chest. The friends panic immediately. They struggle to remember if the death was a tragic accident or a murder committed by one of them. They are terrified by the thought of being arrested by the police. So, they decide to hide the body in the trunk of their car and drive away to find a safe place to dispose of it. As they travel through the night, they tend to imagine, argue, and quarrel, adding more tension to the situation. Their friendship starts to fall apart. Each friend begins to suspect the others, and old secrets and selfish motives start to surface. During this night journey, they get to meet several strangers and obstacles.
