Kulfi is the Telugu version of the Tamil movie Vadacurry. The story follows Harish (Jai Sampath), a charming but unlucky medical representative. Harish feels out of place because he uses an old, low-end mobile phone. He is insulted in various circumstances because of the loud ringtone on his mobile. His tech-savvy friends tease him constantly and pressure him to buy a trendy, expensive model. Harish likes Swathi (Swathi Reddy), but he hesitates to propose to her because he is afraid of her humiliating him for his cheap mobile phone. One day, Harish finds an expensive, high-end phone left behind at a tea shop. He thinks this is the solution to his problems. He believes the phone will improve his social life and help him get the attention of Swathi (Swathi Reddy). Harish decides to keep the phone, but a lot of terrible events follow. Harish faces many awkward encounters and misunderstandings because of the new phone he found. These complications force him to think about his own values. He begins to reassess what is truly important in life. What kind of problems did Harish run into? How does he get rid of the phone? How does he lean back on honesty and his identity? What happened to his relationship with Swathi? To know the answers to these questions, watch Kulfi.
