John Luther is a crime thriller film starring Jayasurya in the lead role. John Luther works as a SI. Super cop John Luther (Jayasurya) is an honest and effective police officer in Munnar. He always gives importance to his duty than his family as he is workaholic. He takes up the case, a motorbike accident that happened at night where the driver Prakashan dies on the spot and the person sitting behind goes missing. The body of a person fell on the bus travelling. Based on the CCTV footage and photos captured by passengers, they identified the truck that had hit the bike. Meanwhile, a school boy also goes missing in the same area. There were no links found between two cases. But John feels somehow they are related. He noticed that the pickup truck has no number plate. So the police started searching for the truck. John gets seriously injured in a fight with two goons who were involved in a high profile case. With that, he lost hearing ability of the left ear and the right ear has a little ability to hear. After a month of leave, John gets back to the duty. A woman named Geetha also goes missing.
