Gypsy (Jiiva) is a free-spirited musician. He was orphaned as a child when his Hindu-Muslim parents died in a Kashmir attack. Raised by a nomadic musician with his horse Che, he is taught to live freely. His mentor tells him to find his soulmate before dying. Gypsy travels to Nagore and falls for Waheeda (Natasha Singh), a girl from a strict Muslim family. They elope quietly and marry, finding joy despite their different backgrounds. Waheeda loves Gypsy’s carefree life, which gives her freedom. They travel, visiting places of worship, but a violent communal riot tears them apart. Gypsy loses Che and searches for Waheeda, who is traumatised and doesn’t recognise him. Gypsy is heartbroken and meets a communist (Sunny Wayne) who helps him understand the politics behind the riots. Gypsy fights to reunite with Waheeda. He also exposes the riot’s masterminds in the process. Waheeda’s father (Lal Jose) softens, seeing their love. Through pain and loss, Gypsy and Waheeda reconnect, healing together. Gypsy promises to spread a message of humanity, inspired by his journey. To see how they start a new life flled with love, watch Gypsy.
