The story of Gulebakavali begins in the year 1945, during the British rule in India. A British businessman steals a valuable bag of precious diamonds from a hidden temple in a village called Gulebakavali. However, during his escape, he is forced to hide the treasure in a secret spot to keep it safe from others. Many years later, the story moves to the present day. Badri (Prabhu Deva) is a small-time crook who performs risky jobs for money. He is contacted by an old man who knows the secret of the lost diamonds. The man gives Badri a map and asks him to find the treasure. Along the way, Badri meets Viji (Hansika Motwani), a clever woman who is also a con artist. At first, they try to trick each other, but they eventually decide to work together to find the wealth. They are joined by an experienced thief named Maayi (Revathi) and a funny assistant (Yogi Babu). As the group travels towards the village, they face many challenges. A dangerous gang of criminals is also chasing the same treasure. The journey is filled with funny situations, car chases, and clever tricks. Badri uses his intelligence and fighting skills to protect his friends from the villains.
