The movie starts with four sorcerers trying to catch a very angry ghost that wants revenge. They trick the ghost by using the blood of four men the ghost wants to hurt. They trap the ghost inside a special stone called a crystal. Whoever gets their blood on the crystal can control the ghost and have all their wishes come true. But if the crystal breaks, the ghost will be free, and things will become very bad. A long time later, a woman named Aparna (Hansika Motwani), who is an interior designer, goes to her work, which is a building that is still being built. While walking there, she steps on a piece of wood with a nail in it. Some blood from her foot falls on the crystal. This makes the ghost inside the crystal come under her control. So, she is surprised when anything she wishes for starts to happen. It takes some time for Aparna to understand that whatever she says or thinks actually becomes real. However, every time one of her wishes comes true, something bad happens to someone else. She realises that there is a strange power at work and that the crystal she has at home is causing it. Without knowing what she is doing, she throws the crystal, and it breaks, letting the ghost out. The rest of the movie is about what happens after that. The second part is exciting when Aparna's character realises that the ghost wants revenge for a good reason. Overall, Guardian is a decent supernatural thriller.
