Gharana Mogudu tells the high-energy story of Raju (Chiranjeevi), a kind-hearted and loyal shipyard worker in Visakhapatnam. When his mother suffers a paralytic stroke, Raju relocates to Hyderabad, where he performs a heroic act to save the wealthy industrialist Bapineedu (Rao Gopal Rao) from an assassination attempt. This incident earns him a job at a major factory. The factory is managed with an iron fist by Bapineedu’s arrogant daughter, Uma Devi (Nagma). Raju’s natural leadership and popularity as a champion of workers' rights collides with her authoritarian style. Their clash of egos drives the narrative, leading Uma Devi to make a calculated move: she decides to marry Raju, believing that a marital bond will force him into submission and silence his influence over the labourers. The gimmicks Uma Devi uses to convince Raju to marry her are interesting. After marriage, Uma Devi tries different ways to defeat him. However, Raju remains undefeated, continuing to challenge her arrogance, leading to a comedic "battle of the sexes". In the middle of their personal friction, a vengeful business rival, Ranganayakulu (Kaikala Satyanarayana), schemes to destroy the family and the company. Raju step up to protect the factory and save Uma Devi from these external threats, ultimately teaching her the value of humility and love.
