Sadashiva Rao is a moody man who lives with his wife, Parvathi, their son, Lakshman, and Lakshman’s wife, Yamini. Sadashiva threatens to kick Lakshman and Yamini out if Lakshman doesn’t find a job soon. Since his first marriage, Rama, Sadashiva’s older son, has been distant from the family after Sadashiva threw him out years ago. When Lakshman reconnects with Rama, they plan to paralyze their father for revenge and to get his money. Lakshman persuades Parvathi to help, and that night, Sadashiva is paralyzed. Rama comes home with his wife, Mahati, to ensure he gets the inheritance. Meanwhile, Rama’s friend Nagesh unexpectedly arrives, asking for money he lent. Rama tricks him into the backyard and kills him. Yamini sees this murder and tells Lakshman, who convinces her to stay quiet until they secure the inheritance. Soon, Sadashiva’s family friend Vasuki visits and overhears Rama, admitting to the plan to cause paralysis. Rama and Lakshman catch Vasuki and kill him. Mahati sees the murder but only sees Lakshman involved. At this point in the movie “Family Drama”, it becomes clear that both brothers are serial killers. Yamini, Mahati, and Parvathi are in danger. Will they find out the truth behind the violence? Can Mahati and Yamini keep themselves safe from the brothers? As things get worse, what role will Parvathi play in this tragedy? As loyalties change and secrets come out, do they have any chance of surviving, or will the family's cycle of violence take more lives?
