It is the year 2012 and the location is marriage registrar office. Arjun is waiting for his girlfriend Ayesha to arrive for their wedding. However, Ayesha doesn't show up, leaving Arjun heartbroken. Four years later, Kishore, a cousin of Arjun's friend, becomes mentally disturbed and believes a spirit possesses him due to multiple rejections from girls. Arjun unwillingly takes Kishore for his treatment to Mahishasura temple in Kerala. Arjun gets attracted to a girl named Amala there in Kerala and falls in love with her. Kishore's treatment is completed, and Arjun is devastated to learn that Amala has left the place without informing him. Arjun, now determined to find her, travels to her hometown, Vijayawada. To his surprise, he discovers that Amala had died in an accident four years ago, and the girl he met in Kerala was not Amala. Back in Hyderabad, Arjun comes across the same girl he met in Kerala. Amala is Nitya and has an entirely different personality. Arjun learns from Nithya's sister that Nitya was possessed by a spirit named Amala, who died in an accident. Amala's spirit enters another girl's body and comes to Arjun's house. Arjun gets terrified, but he maintains his composure in her presence. Arjun lies to this girl (Amala) and goes to meet Nitya. Amala follows Arjun and discovers that Arjun meets Nitya and kisses her, After returning home, Amala reveals to Arjun that she is none other than Ayesha, whose actual name is Amala.
