Eega is about Nani, a fireworks expert from Hyderabad who is in love with his neighbour Bindu, runs an NGO, is a Micro Artist. Bindu also develops feelings for Nani, although she doesn't express them to Nani. In seeking to raise funds for her NGO, Bindu meets a wealthy and powerful Industrialist named Sudeep, who also finds Bindu attractive and lusts for her. He donates 15 lakhs and befriends Bindu. Sudeep attempts to woo her but fails as she doesn't notice him. Sudeep sees Nani following Bindu and realizes that they are attracted to each other—Sudeep plans to kill Nani to avoid competition and get Bindu's attention on him. One night, Nani helps Bindu finish an art piece with a heart-shaped locket made from a pencil. Sudeep tries to kidnap Nani on his way back home and kills him. Before dying, Nani tells Sudeep that he will kill him if he tries to harm Bindu. Nani then reincarnates as a housefly but struggles to regain his previous life memory. Meanwhile, Sudeep asks the heartbroken Bindu to accompany him to New Delhi to meet the education minister; if she impresses the minister, he might help the NGO gain National Recognition. Nani (The Fly) regains his memory when he sees Bindu and Sudeep together and begins to devote himself to taking revenge on Sudeep by freaking a car accident and writing "I will kill you" on the windshield; this makes Sudeep paranoid. Nani(The Fly) sees Bindu Morning's death and tries to write on the desk with her tears to reveal himself as Nani and Sudeep as his killer.
