In 1980, Chennai, an oil smuggler, raises Vaasu, the orphaned son of his slain friend. Years later, as corrupt forces led by Mayavel, Balamurugan, and Padhani battle for control of the black-market oil empire, Vaasu rises from the shadows to avenge his father figure and destroy the syndicate that tore his world apart.
