





Diary revolves around Varadha (Arulnithi), a cop trainee, and his mysterious experiences. As his training assessment, Varadha gets an unsolved case to work on. The case is about the brutal murder of a honeymoon couple in a hillside resort sixteen years ago. As Varadha works on the case, he gets some leads that take him closer to the criminals. He seeks the help of another cop, Pavithra (Pavithra Marimuthu), to resolve the case. Together, they try to investigate the case. One day, Varadha's car goes missing. In a parallel sequence, the lives of many people who board the last bus from Ooty to Coimbatore are at risk. A lot of weird things happen inside the bus. How the story unfolds from here is the remaining plot. How does the car go missing? What is it with the passengers of the bus? What happens to them? Does Varadha crack the case? Do they escape alive? How is the diary involved in the story? The movie has all the answers you’re looking for. This investigative story also has some supernatural elements, taking it to the next level. All the actors have done a commendable job. Other actors in the film include Kishore Kumar, Ranjana Nachiyaar, and Jayaprakash, who have delivered decent performances. The background score and cinematography add more value to the script. Diary is undoubtedly an engaging watch with family and friends.
