Asuraguru is the Telugu-dubbed version of the Tamil movie of the same name. Shakti (Vikram Prabhu) is a smart thief who loves technology and has been obsessed with money since he was a kid. He does risky robberies, like stealing from a train's money safe. He's so good at covering his tracks that the police, led by an officer named Manickavasagam, who is about to retire, are always worried. Meanwhile, Diya (Mahima Nambiar) is a private detective who works for criminals. A crime boss named Jamaludheen hires her to get back money that was stolen from his son Malik's car. Diya's investigation connects her to Shakti through a friend they both know, Jagga (Jagan). As Shakti steals more and more, he starts targeting rich people, but it's not clear why he's doing it – he's not giving the money away or getting revenge. Diya follows him and is impressed by how skilled he is, but she's also getting closer to catching him. Manickavasagam's police team is frustrated and tries to set traps for Shakti, while Jagga and his funny friend Yogi Babu add some light moments to the chase. Why is Shakti greedy? Does Diya explore Shakti's past? What happens in the end? To know the answers, watch Asuraguru.
