The plot is set in 2003 in a small village in the Indian state of Telangana. Krishna (Karthik Rathnam), whose dad is a weaver, has loved Pushpa (Krishna Priya) since they were kids. Her dad, Ramanna (Sai Kumar), used to be a fighter. Krishna is too shy to tell Pushpa how he feels, so he takes care of a rose plant, planning to give her its flower when he finally proposes to her. One day, Krishna sees Pushpa with a flower and wrongly thinks the village leader's son gave it to her. Krishna gets angry and beats up the leader's son, which starts a clash between the different castes in the village. The village is split by caste, and now it explodes into violence. A powerful upper-caste leader named Veeranna (Raja Ravindra) makes things worse by blaming Krishna's lower-caste community for the trouble. A shrewd politician, Subhalekha Sudhakar, sees this chaos as an opportunity to garner votes, while a police officer, SP Ranjith (Naveen Chandra), strives to restore peace despite pressure from the politicians. Pushpa doesn't know Krishna loves her and has to deal with her father's plans to marry her to someone else. Krishna's fight causes more fights, deaths, and unrest in the village. Ramanna is stuck between his violent past and wanting a good future for Pushpa, so he makes a brave decision. As the caste violence gets worse, Krishna tries to protect Pushpa and show her how much he loves her. Veeranna's evil plans make the fighting even worse, and the politician's tricks cause more bloodshed. To know what happens toward the end, watch Ardha Shathabdham.
