The story of this film takes place in 2007. Malli, played by Suhas and Padma, played by Sharanya are twins from a village called Ambajipet. Malli works in a marriage band, named ‘Ambajipet Marriage Band’. Padma works as a teacher in the village school. Her father Kanakaiah runs a salon shop in the same village. Malli is very fond of Lakshmi, played by the debutant heroine Shivani Nagaram. She is the younger sister of Venkata Babu (Nithin Prasanna), a big-shot from the village from a higher caste. Venkat is also a moneylender, who lends money at high interest rates. Lakshmi also likes Malli and falls in love with him. The two secretly start meeting each other, using the salon shop as their hideout. On the other hand, there is a rumour in the village that Venkata Babu and Padma are having an illicit relationship. Padma, however, ignores all this and provides education to poor children. Once, there arise a tiff between Venkata Babu’s brother Srinu Babu (Vinay Mahadev), and Padma. In this process, Padma slaps Srinu. At the same time, Venkat comes to know that Malli is in love with his sister. Angry Venkat brings Padma alone to school and humiliates her terribly. What happened after Malli came to know about this? In what way did Venkata Babu actually insult Padma? Did Padma get justice from the police? What did Padma do for justice? Why did Venkat shave Malli's head? What was Malli's fight for her sister? What happened in the end? That is the rest of the story.
