“Adhurs” is an action-comedy film that follows the story of Narasimha and Chari, twin brothers who get separated at birth. A nurse and an older woman do something complicated. They switch a dead baby with one of a mother’s twins (Chari) without her knowing. The older woman believes this will help the mother, who is having a hard time and is all alone. They think it will improve things for both families as the other family can't lose a child again. They grow up in very different homes. Narasimha becomes a police officer. Chari is raised by a priest named Bhattacharya also known as Bhattu, who has financial struggles. In the course of time, Bhattacharya finds Chandrakala, a woman he wants to impress. One night, at a pub, Bhattacharya tries to win over Chandrakala, but things go wrong when Narasimha steps in during a gang fight. This gets Chandrakala's attention instead. Later, Narasimha is kidnapped by criminals who want him to make a weapon, but he manages to escape. Everything after that leads to a point where Chari is asked to pretend to be his brother at an engagement ceremony so that he can make some money. This decision leads to a chain of events that change their entire reality. Does the story they share bring them closer and push them apart? The movie 'Adhurs' is quite entertaining with it's action sequences, humorous moments and emotional element.
