Mighel (Mohan Bhagath), known as Prisoner No. 299, is locked up in a high-security prison. He is facing a death sentence. One day, he escapes from the jail. Two detectives, Kalagh Chaitanya (Ravindra Vijay) and Madhav (Abhishek Boddepalli), are hired to investigate his mysterious escape from jail. They find Mighel’s diary, which contains strange entries hinting at secrets beyond a normal prison break. The story jumps between the present investigation and flashbacks of Mighel’s life in a peaceful village. In the village, Mighel grows close to Subramanya Rao (Bhushan Kalyan), a quirky scientist obsessed with time travel. Rao is working on an experiment to manipulate time using déjà vu and time loops, and Mighel gets deeply involved. Mighel also shares a warm, mother-like bond with Leelamma (Surabhi Prabhavathi), who raised him after he lost his family. The diary suggests that Mighel’s escape is linked to Rao’s time-travel experiment, as he wants to go back and relive precious moments with Leelamma and rectify past mistakes. However, a local rivalry in the village involving angry villagers creates trouble and puts Mighel and Rao in danger. As Chaitanya and Madhav follow the diary’s clues, they uncover twists about Mighel’s motives and the experiment’s risks. The story, told in eight chapters, explores whether Mighel can use time travel to change his tragic fate or make new memories with Leelamma. However, some questions are left open.
