Aaragan has an unusual opening scene. A young man dies when saving a saint from a venomous snake. But, as a reward for his valour, he gets a powerful boon. The story revolves around the couple Saravanan (Michael Thangaraj) and Magizhnila (Kavipriya) who are madly in love but are struggling financially. Soon Magizhnila gets a well-paying caretaker job in a remote location. She takes it up to support Saravanan’s business dreams. Magizhnila works as a caretaker in an old house that is completely isolated. With not even a phone signal, she feels lonely and uncomfortable. However, when she finds out she is pregnant, she gets some hope, dreaming of a family with Saravanan. Things do take a drastic turn when she starts experiencing disturbing nightmares. Once, she gets to see a chained pregnant woman in the old house and feels that something is terribly wrong there. Though Magizhini’s discomfort increases day by day, she makes it a point to remain strong and focused with the hope of leading a bright future with Saravanan. Will Saravanan help Magizhnila? Who is the young man who received the powerful boon? What is that boon? Who is that chained pregnant woman in the house? Will Magizhini get out of this trap?
