Aaha is the Telugu-dubbed version of a Malayalam film. In a rural village in Kerala, Kochu (Indrajith Sukumaran), a former tug-of-war champion, lives alone. He's been isolated for twenty years after a terrible loss ended the legendary Aaha Neeloor team's 56-game winning streak. This team, comprising local quarry workers and labourers, was once the pride of their community. Kochu was blamed for the defeat, and because of this personal tragedy, he cut himself off from the sport and from others. In the present day, Ani (Amith Chakalakkal), a young man dealing with his own failures, dreams of bringing the team back to life to restore the village's former glory. He approaches Kochu to coach a new group of unlikely players, including Binayak, a spirited migrant worker known for his stamina. At first, Kochu doesn't want to coach, but he finally agrees. He sets tough rules to test their dedication. As they train, Kochu confronts his painful past while Ani battles his own self-doubt. The team's journey through exhausting tug-of-war matches, set against beautiful green hills, builds their friendship but also includes tough losses. There are other side plots, like a romance with Mary (Santhy Balachandran) and social issues like domestic abuse. The team's never-give-up attitude leads them to a thrilling final match, which tests their unity and strength. Does Kochu find peace in the end? Who wins the final match?
