Mighel (Mohan Bhagath), known as Prisoner No. 299, is locked up in a high-security prison. He is facing a death sentence. One day, he escapes from the jail. Two detectives, Kalagh Chaitanya (Ravindra Vijay) and Madhav (Abhishek Boddepalli), are hired to investigate his mysterious escape from jail. They find Mighel’s diary, which contains strange entries hinting at secrets beyond a normal prison break. The story jumps between the present investigation and flashbacks of Mighel’s life in a peaceful village.
